In the last six months before the official launch of Gravitech four baristas tested this technology in their coffee shop world wide. Here the presentation: Colin Harmon (3fe – Dublin, Ireland), Miki Suzuki (Maruyama Coffee – Tokyo, Japan), Oskar Garberg (Johan&Nistrom – Stockholm, Sweden) and Ross Brown (Browns of Brockley – London, United Kingdom). They worked with the VA388 BE Gravitech and in these videos we show you field test results.
Solid, precise and gravimetric. The new VA388 Black Eagle Gravitech is much more than an espresso machine; it is an enhancement of each coffee blend and an expression of every barista.
Gravitech gives users a higher level of consistency and control over coffee brewing with maximum precision. Baristas can set the weight of ground coffee and liquid in the cup for each blend. The display group shows the principal parameters: brewing time and weight in the cup.

Hoffmann. Yes, it was an ambitious project, but
our intention was, and remains, to make the barista’s
business the best. Thus our VA388 Black Eagle gravitech
machine was created, an espresso machine with the
capacity to control the amount of liquid
in the cup, getting the right consistency of espresso and
ensuring maximum aroma in the cup. Not only that; the
VA388 is a tool that allows a barista to do what
they want, whenever they want.
The new professional coffee machine must also support the
relationship between the customer and the barista.
Viglino, the designer, chose a soft style, with more
curves and asymmetrical elements, in a 49 centimeter-high
product.
White and black, opposites in balance.

and determination of black. White and black are the new
faces of an espresso coffee machine that stands out for
its solidity and its innovative aspects.
